Kite

Kite, formerly Zettablock and led by CEO Chi Zhang, launched Kite Chain mainnet and Kite Agent Passport on 30 April 2026, citing more than 90 integrated service providers. It publishes a technical whitepaper and a MiCA white paper. CryptoUmmah could not confirm that the core blockchain code is open source, and CoinMarketCap showed a CertiK rating of 4.2/10.

Kite's $18 million Series A in September 2025 was co-led by General Catalyst and PayPal Ventures, bringing total funding to $33 million, later given as $35 million. The token launched on Binance, Upbit and Bithumb on 3 November 2025 with $263 million of volume in the first two hours. Investors hold 12% of supply under a one-year cliff and four-year unlock.

The supply is capped at 10 billion KITE. On 1 October 2026 CoinMarketCap showed 2.568 billion (25.68%) circulating and a fully diluted valuation of $1.5 billion. Team and early contributors (20%) and investors (12%) unlock over four years after a one-year cliff from the November 2025 launch. Staking rewards start in newly issued KITE at a target of about 4% a year before shifting to stablecoins.

Kite Chain mainnet has run since April 2026. CoinMarketCap showed 103,940 KITE holders on 1 October 2026. Data on agent payments, transaction counts and fees is insufficient: no primary or reputable figures were found.
