Grass lets people share unused internet bandwidth to collect public web data for AI buyers; GRASS is its Solana token, staked to routers.

Grass is a network that pays people for sharing unused internet bandwidth. Users run an app, and the network sends requests for public web pages through their connections. The collected data is cleaned into datasets and sold to AI companies and other businesses. Grass says it handles only public pages, never personal files or logged-in content.

GRASS is the network's token, an SPL token on Solana with a fixed supply of 1 billion. Holders can delegate it to routers, which handle network traffic, and share their rewards; slashing is not yet in place. Contributors in the current stage are paid in USDC rather than new GRASS.

GRASS launched on 28 October 2024 with one of the largest airdrops on Solana. Investors (25.2%), contributors (22%) and the foundation (22.8%) hold most of the rest, with insider tokens on a one-year cliff and vesting. Wynd Labs builds the software.

Grass reported revenue of $17 million in 2025 and another $17 million in the first half of 2026.
