SOON builds rollups that run the Solana Virtual Machine on other chains, starting with an Ethereum layer 2; SOON is its governance and staking token.
SOON is a rollup project. Its Decoupled SVM runs the Solana Virtual Machine as a layer 2 on top of other chains, with fraud proofs, so apps get Solana-like speed while settling on chains such as Ethereum. Its products are SOON Mainnet, SOON Stack (rollup-as-a-service) and InterSOON for cross-chain messages.
The SOON token is used for governance, ecosystem incentives and staking. The initial supply was 1 billion with 3% annual inflation; 51% is for the community, 25% for the ecosystem, 10% for the team and co-builders, 8% for airdrops and liquidity and 6% for the foundation. In 2025 the project raised $22 million through an NFT mint. After a suspected market manipulation episode, the foundation burned 30 million SOON under proposal SIP-1.
