The protocol code is public, has had multiple independent audits and a public bug bounty. ABC Labs operates the websites and contributes to both the Yield and Index protocols. New Index DTFs for baskets of US-listed AI companies were launched in June 2026. Data on the size and funding of the team is insufficient in the facts collected.

CoinMarketCap shows 37,622 holder addresses, with the top 10 holding 63.29% and the top 100 holding 86.63% of RSR. No exchange-traded product holding RSR was found. Data on institutional holders is insufficient.

Supply is fixed at 100 billion RSR and about 62.55 billion circulated on 2 October 2026, so more than a third can still enter circulation. Part of every Index DTF fee is used to market-purchase RSR and burn it, and stakers on Yield DTFs receive rewards in RSR acquired with basket revenue. DefiLlama showed about $37,800 of revenue reaching token holders in the 30 days to 2 October 2026, which is small relative to the market cap.

On 2 October 2026 DefiLlama showed about $39.9 million locked in the Reserve Protocol, mostly on Ethereum, and about $8.05 million of staked RSR. Fees over the previous 30 days were about $97,000. These figures are low for a token with a market cap of about $108.9 million.
