Pieverse
PIEVERSE#100PIEVERSE is the token of Pieverse, a venture-backed platform for AI agents that pay and keep auditable on-chain records.
Does not clear all 8 Shariah criteria. Needs caution: interest (riba), nature of the asset, gambling (maysir), business model, excessive uncertainty (gharar), and usage.

Can a Muslim hold Pieverse?8 Shariah criteria
2 pass · 6 caution · 0 failHolding PIEVERSE pays no interest, but the Pieverse platform routes user balances into yield products, and CryptoUmmah links them to fixed-rate interest lending.
Riba is interest or any guaranteed increase on a loan. The PIEVERSE token has no staking or reward function documented by the project, and the project's pricing page mentions no token yield. But Pieverse's own Agentic Neobank announcement says agents can route idle balances into a 'Piggy Bank' and other yield products without saying where the yield comes from. CryptoUmmah, the authoritative source for this coin, scores riba 38/100 because of a partnership with TermMax offering fixed-rate yields and borrowing at a predetermined interest rate.
Interest-type products are therefore part of the platform, but their share is unknown, so the criterion is at caution rather than fail.
PIEVERSE is a transferable token of a real software platform, but the project does not document any use of the token inside its product.
This criterion asks whether the asset has real value as property (mal). Pieverse is a working company with a live product: users pay subscriptions for AI agents that keep on-chain payment records. The token, however, is not mentioned in the project's pricing or product overview, which charge in USD, so its role in that product is not documented. A token whose only documented function is to be traded is a coin-specific weakness, so the criterion is at caution. CryptoUmmah rates the coin impermissible on other grounds and does not dispute that the token is property.
The platform includes chance-based 'Mystery Boxes', a competitive 'Agent Arena' and, per CryptoUmmah, a prediction feature that rewards correct forecasts with tokens.
Maysir is gambling: gaining or losing by chance rather than through productive exchange. Pieverse's own announcement lists 'Mystery Boxes' for sending value between users and agents and an 'Agent Arena' rewards programme, and CryptoUmmah, the authoritative source, scores maysir 45.9/100 because a Prediction Arena rewards correct forecasts with tokens. These features sit next to the main product rather than being its core, and how they work in detail is not published, so the criterion is at caution rather than fail.
A Binance perpetual contract with up to 40x leverage opened on launch day, which adds speculative trading but is assessed under trading mechanisms.
Pieverse earns USD subscriptions for AI agents, which is permissible, but its neobank also offers yield products of undisclosed source.
This criterion asks how the business earns money and whether any of it is impermissible. Pieverse's published pricing is monthly USD subscriptions from $10 to $279 with AI credits, which is ordinary software income. The same company runs an Agentic Neobank that routes deposits into yield products, and CryptoUmmah links the platform to fixed-rate interest lending through TermMax. Some impermissible activity is therefore shown, but its share of the business is unknown, so the criterion is at caution. The token gives holders no claim on company revenue.
About 70% of supply is still locked, the token's role is undocumented, the tokenomics are published only by aggregators, and a multisig controls the token contract.
Gharar is excessive uncertainty or hidden information in a deal. On 1 October 2026 only 29.54% of the 1 billion maximum supply was circulating, and the allocation and vesting (team 20%, investors 15%, foundation 10%) are known only from data aggregators, not from a project page. Etherscan shows the Ethereum token contract is owned by a multisig, and the split of supply between Ethereum and BNB Smart Chain is not published. CryptoUmmah, the authoritative source, scores gharar 38/100 for contradictory information about the team, no completed CertiK audit and unverified team KYC.
The CEO is publicly named, so the team is not fully anonymous; overall this is caution.
The platform has a real use (AI agents with auditable payments), but the token itself has no documented use beyond trading.
This criterion looks at what the asset is actually used for. Pieverse's product (agents, skills, on-chain invoices and receipts) is a permissible use. The token's part in it is not documented: the pricing page charges in USD and does not mention PIEVERSE, and the project says live autonomous agent payment protocols are not yet public. In practice the token is held and traded, including through a leveraged perpetual contract, so the criterion is at caution.
Fully paid spot PIEVERSE is available on Binance Alpha, Bybit and decentralised exchanges and can be held in self-custody.
This criterion asks whether the asset can be owned in a permissible way. PIEVERSE trades spot with full payment and delivery on Binance Alpha and Bybit and is an ordinary BEP-20/ERC-20 token that can be withdrawn to a self-custody wallet. Leveraged futures exist but are not needed to own it. Nothing about ownership itself is interest-based, so the criterion is at the maximum.
Auditable payment records for tax and audits are a real benefit, and no concrete harm such as fraud or a hack is documented.
Maslahah weighs benefit against harm. Pieverse's main idea, keeping timestamped invoices, receipts and checks for crypto payments so that they can be used for tax reporting and audits, is a public benefit. No source shows the project or token being used for fraud, sanctions evasion or a security incident. The risks found (yield products, chance-based features, locked supply) are counted under riba, maysir and gharar, so this criterion is at the maximum.
How you can use it
Tap a card for the ruling and sourcesBuying PIEVERSE with full payment and immediate delivery is available on Binance Alpha, Bybit and decentralised exchanges, and the tokens can be moved to a self-custody wallet. Spot is acceptable for a DOUBTFUL asset for those who follow the permissive view, but the platform's yield and chance-based features keep it at caution.
Not available: no fund holding PIEVERSE was found as of 1 October 2026. A fund that holds the token itself would be judged like spot.
PIEVERSE is not used as a means of payment in practice; Pieverse charges its own subscriptions in USD. Tier-1 bodies such as Indonesia's MUI rule that using cryptocurrency as currency is not permissible.
No native staking: PIEVERSE is a token without its own network, so there is no validation work to be paid for. Any 'staking' offered on the platform or by exchanges must be checked for where its return comes from.
Margin trading in PIEVERSE is offered by some exchanges but is never acceptable: it is a deferred exchange with borrowed money and leverage (AAOIFI SS 20).
PIEVERSE futures and perpetual contracts are traded on large exchanges, but futures, perpetuals and options always fail under AAOIFI SS 20: deferred exchange without delivery, usually with leverage.
Lending PIEVERSE through exchange or DeFi lending programmes pays depositors interest from borrowers. This is riba.
Pieverse's own neobank routes balances into yield products whose source is not disclosed, and CryptoUmmah links them to fixed-rate interest lending. Yield products of this kind, and exchange 'earn' products on PIEVERSE, get their return from lending and fail.
